Monks Neil Park is central to the three communities that make up Stoke North Big Local and an ideal means of moving towards achieving some of our aims and priorities. The park is “a place where all our
communities can come together to share in activities, celebrate Stoke North and achieve the Big Local
vision”.
The long term interest of Big Local partnership in the park is as a centre for communities to come together to enjoy leisure facilities and the green open space, share skills and learning. In the development of this much will be achieved through community effort enhancing the environment, developing people, developing skills and using the park as a leisure facility from sports to gardening clubs. The Big Local partnership aims to engage the council in negotiations and in partnership to realise their vision.
